5 More Unfinished Pages of the Soloist

Just so my 5 fans can get a feel of where I am right now and where I'm going. I'm still debating on the lettering issue, so I'm holding off on that until the art is finished. There's still some cleaning up to do as well. Again, I hope to have Part One done by late fall, and the rest done before the Isotope Awards this year. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Abe Awesome in "The BAAAAAAAA of TERROR!"

I figure while all 5 of my fans anxiously await as I plod along with my progress on "The Soloist", I'd do something fun and pretty mindless. Something that, completely unlike The Soloist, I wouldn't be devoting every ounce of my creative energy in. Something stupid and silly that I could just whittle up in a couple of weeks when I'm not in the proper mood for The Soloist.

So, I'm doing another Abe Awesome story.

This one is going to be completely free to the public and available on this blog as well as other message boards that I frequent.

Again, this does not mean I'm not working on the Soloist. This is just something I'm doing at the same time so I feel more productive than I am right now. Working on the Soloist requires a lot of energey and focus.

This, as you are about to see, doesn't.

I hope everyone has fun with it. I plan on updating it every weekend with however many pages in ends up being. Probably about 10-12. Here's the first 4.

And I also hope what little respect I've gained doesn't go down the drain with this.

As it stands...

Given the rather slow pace I've been going on "The Soloist", and given my desire to try and get something else done soon, I may start working on another project while I work on the Soloist so it at least appears that I have more creative output happening than I do right now. It may be another Abe Awesome story or another NINJAS story, I haven't decided yet. In any case, expect a new book or story by me announced or posted on this blog sometime in the next couple months, probably before I finish the first part of "The Soloist".
