4 Page Preview of NINJAS

Tuesday, January 11, 2005

Just to add space...

No point to this update other than to move the promo piece below a little further down. One of my complaints about blogger is that it doesn't adjust the page so that the graphic isn't disrupted by the stuff on the right side of the screen.

So, um, yeah.

Whuzzup.

This kind of puts a damper on the whole "blog only for updates" rant, huh?

*Taps foot*

So...uh, played the new Star Wars game? It's pretty shweet.

Except for that Hoth level. That's a pain in the butt.

Seriously.

So, yeah.

Can you see the image now?

Okay, that should be enough. Sorry about that.

Promotion stuff

NINJAS is proceeding at a slow but steady pace. I've finished page 3 (which means I'm 1/10th of the way done! Woot!) and am almost done with the thumbnails for the entire book. I'm really working hard to make the art in this particular book to be as good as I can possibly make it. Unlike Test-Tube, I'm not pressuring myself having this book completed at a specific date, and won't "solicit" it until I know for sure I am done. So it might not be done by the end of this month...I'm looking more towards mid-February release now. I think it'll payoff, because now I think my fans (all 5 of you...and that's probably a generous number) will really get a kick out of how I've developed so far as an artist.

Here's a promo my friend Sam Teer (bloodytrapperkeepers.blogspot.com) recently made for me. It looks really keen!

I'm trying to convince him let me use this for the cover as well. Be sure to keep an eye out for his first book, Disposable Boys due out sometime this year.

Anyway, that's it for me. You've probably noticed my updates are kind of sparce...that's because I've decided to devote this blog strictly to updates. I mean, does the Internet really need another smart-ass wannabe comic book writer giving his or her opinion on things?

I don't think so. ;)
